As per the resolution the management of the Press Institute is vested in a board which may exercise all powers and do all acts and things which may be exercised or done by the Press Institute. The Management Board is consisted of 14 members headed by the Chairman appointed by the Government. The Director General of PIB is the member-secretary of the Management Board and being the Executive Head of the Institute is responsible for carrying out decisions of the Board for the purpose of the functioning and administration of PIB.
