4. Mr. Akhil Poddar, a Senior Journalists of Ekushey Television has been achieved the "PIB-Sohel Samad Smriti Award-2012". Every year Press Institute of Bangladesh distributes this award to encourage the Journalists of Bangladesh. From 1999 to 2012 a total of 12 Journalists achieved this award in five different catagories.
